Every once in a while, people start over. Sometimes it's because they want to, other times it's because they have to. This situation is a bit of both.
At heart, what I want most for this website is for it to reflect my real-world self. So just as my physical identity is transitioning into adulthood, so too must AKH undergo a similar transition.
At first, I thought a simple redesign would suffice, but I eventually realized that I wasn't going to be truly happy unless I started all over again, from the ground up. So what you are seeing now is my attempt to transform the site into something more thorough, topical, and (hopefully) mature.
The workhorse of the site is still WordPress; it's far too amazing for me to do without. On top of that, I've dressed it up with Thesis, which is undoubtedly the best theme available for any CMS. Those updates aside, I'm still working on getting the site running just the way I want it, so things may be a bit wonky now and then.
Having said that, welcome to the new digs! I hope you enjoy your stay.
